The catalogue presents the art of a sculptor working mainly in bronze and stone during the period from the 1960s up to the beginning of the new millennium. Freestanding sculpture and monuments, portraits, figural and abstract compositions, as well as playful sidesteps with assemblages of plaster castings – a very wide range of endeavours by the artist and a testimony to her professionalism, placing her among the leading figures in Latvian sculpture of the second half of the 20th century.
