A monograph on the master of watercolour, stained glass, researcher of painting techniques and art teacher Kārlis Brencēns. Until now information on this significant personality in the Latvian art of the first half of the 20th century was to be found only in encyclopaedias, periodicals and separate catalogues of his exhibitions.
The compiler of the monograph Marita Bērziņa has included an analysis of Brencēns' creative heritage, biography and full catalogue of his works. The book includes large number of reproductions of the artist's works and documentary photographs.
